The terms under which you use api.mutual.ai.

Draft These terms are not yet final and may change.

1. Service Description

api.mutual.ai is an API gateway service operated by mesh. GmbH. It routes requests to various AI model providers via OpenRouter. We do not host, train, or fine-tune any AI models ourselves.

2. Prepaid Credits

The service operates on a prepaid credit system denominated in EUR. Credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Usage is deducted from your credit balance in real time based on tokens consumed and the model's pricing.

3. Intellectual Property

You own your outputs, subject to the terms of the upstream model provider. For proprietary models (e.g. GPT-4, Claude), the provider's license governs output ownership. For open-weight models, outputs are yours without restriction. In all cases, mesh. GmbH claims no ownership over your inputs or outputs.

4. No Data Training

Your inputs and outputs are never used for training, fine-tuning, or improving any model. We do not store prompt or completion content beyond what is needed to fulfil a single request.

5. AI Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using any output. mesh. GmbH is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Generate spam, phishing, or deceptive content
• Produce illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
• Attempt to extract model weights or reverse-engineer the service
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse shared infrastructure
• Impersonate others or create misleading AI-generated personas

Violation may result in immediate suspension without refund of remaining credits.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide no uptime guarantee. The service depends on third-party model providers and infrastructure. We are not liable for downtime, latency, or degraded performance caused by upstream providers.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Friedrichshafen, Germany.
